Melea Cruz – Partner, Grant Thornton
Melea Cruz is a Tax Partner at Grant Thornton Thailand. Her expertise is in international taxation, transfer pricing, tax compliance, tax assessments, tax advocacy and expatriate tax services. She has over 10 years of experience providing tax consulting services to clients in various industries including manufacturing, real estate, consumer services, and automotive. She has also been a member of the Philippines Bar since 1997.
Alan Polivnick – Partner, Watson Farley & Williams
Alan is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Group of Watson Farley & Williams (Thailand). He focuses on cross-border arbitration, dispute resolution, insurance and corporate matters. Alan regularly advises MNCs, international organisations, foreign shareholders and Thai companies on their operations in Thailand including contract negotiations, commercial and coverage disputes and regulatory issues. He also advises on employment law issues, including restructuring, redundancies, relocation, outsourcing and the use of foreign labour and representing employees in Thai labour law proceedings. He is ranked Band 1 in Insurance by Chambers Asia Pacific 2016. He is also considered a leading lawyer in transport by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2013 - 2015. Alan is qualified to practise in England and Wales and Australia.
