Message from your Chamber

Greetings from your Chamber! What a great start to the year it has been! In my regular meetings with Chamber members, there has been one consistent theme in every conversation – “we’re so busy!” Many members have been surprised by the work cyclone they faced when returning from the holidays, but at the same time pleased by the vibrant business environment. We hope that the year started great for you too.

In this edition of Advance our Industry Focus is on Business Advisory, Legal, Tax, Accounting and Insurance sectors, with a variety of interesting articles from our members below. We encourage you to take a moment to update on what is happening in these areas and how it affects individuals and businesses in Thailand.

We also welcome five new members, and highlight the Member Benefit sections. If you haven’t already, please have a look at our Promotional Offers, Members Calendar, and Members News; if you would like to contribute to these sections and promote your business, please feel free to contact the AustCham office.

Finally, with Australia Day just passing, we have some great photos and stories from the celebrations here in Thailand.

Wishing you a successful 2018 ahead!

Brendan Cunningham

Mr Paul Robilliard and Consular-General, Craig Ferguson both hosted receptions to celebrate Australia Day.  While, the Honorary Consul of Australia in Chiang Mai, Ronald J Elliott visited local Australian businesses to mark the occasion.  These celebrations not only celebrated Australia Day but also the close relationship that Australia and the Kingdom of Thailand continue to enjoy.
