Message from your Chamber

Greetings and welcome to this month’s issue of AustCham's Advance online magazine.

November is “Education” month for AustCham and we are pleased to inform our members that we have recently held multiple meetings with the Minister for Education, H.E. Mr. Teerakiat Jareonsettasin regarding the development of Vocational Education and Training for Thailand. We’re working with Austrade and Australian Education Institutes, and hoping we can see an Australian influence in the system in the near future.  Also on Education, you can find interesting and informative articles from our Members in our Industry Focus below, as well as in our Advance Blog page, and we hope to see you at our Australian Universities Connect! Member Briefing on 7th November.

Also on 7th November is Thailand’s premier business networking event, Sundowners, and November will feature a Hospitality & Tourism panel “How to Gain Traction in the Chinese Market”, and the first episode of the Digital Workshop series “B2B Storytelling on Social Media”, and it’s not too late to sign up for the ultimate outdoor networking opportunity The Duchess 2018 AustCham Golf Tournament.

Finally, the Australian Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Paul Robilliard and his family depart at the end of the November, and our Christmas Sundowners will be the last opportunity to bid them farewell. Hope you all can make it!

Wishing you all a successful month ahead"
