Celebrated annually on 8 March, International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of ordinary women who have played extraordinary roles in their countries and communities. 


The Australian Alumni and the Australian Thai Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Australian Embassy Bangkok are pleased to present Equal Partners: Realising the Potential of Women in the Workplace on Tuesday 8 March, 2016.  Involving Thai and Australian business leaders, this event will celebrate women’s voices in decision-making and leadership and aims to support Thai and Australian women’s participation in sustainable economic growth.

Venue: Kuppa Tea and Coffee Traders, Sukhumvit Soi 16

Parking available atSomerset Lake Point Bangkok (Baht 20/Hour)


Cost: Baht 500 for AustCham members and non-members. Price includes finger food and beverage vouchers)


Transportation: Asoke BTS Station / Sukhumvit MRT Station (then a very short walk to the top of Sukhumvit Soi 16 which is located approx. 100m down Ratchadapisk Rd. Kuppa is located a further. 400m down Soi 16, a tuk tuk shuttle has been arranged from the top of Soi 16 and will pick up attendees from in front of the Seven Eleven store. The shuttle service will operate from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. 


Self drive: Parking is available next door to Kuppa (Baht 20/Hour) at Somerset Lake Point Bangkok      

        

**Please note that if driving it is recommended to approach via Rama 4 Road and turn left to Soi Phai Singto (located next to the new FYI Building) and keep turning left until you reach the intersection with the bottom of Soi 16 where you again turn left and travel up Soi 16 approx 500m. If coming from this direction both Somerset Lake Point Bangkok and Kuppa will be on your right. Please make sure to get a parking stamp from Kuppa so that you will be charged only 20 THB per hour.
