Are you fit for work?

In today’s workplace this question holds two meanings – (i) are your skills, qualifications and work ethics a match for this organisation? (recruitment stage); and (ii) are you physically and mentally fit enough to excel in your job on a daily basis? (performance management stage).

This briefing will focus on question (ii) and the growing importance companies are placing on promoting employee well-being to enhance company performance.

Join us to hear from our expert panelist who will discuss the importance of physical and mental well-being in the workplace, with a focus on the following areas:

  • Maintaining => Damien Posterino, Head of Sales – SEA from Virgin Active will highlight the importance of keeping fit and how it affects daily work performance, and provide tips on how to do so;
  • Monitoring => Laurie Colyer-Charusorn, Business Unit Director of the Health Screening Center at Bumrungrad International Hospital will discuss "What tests do you really need?" and what really makes sense for you personally;
  • Managing => Tani Cruz, Head of HR at ANZ Thailand, will outline how Health & Well-being programs are used in companies and the benefits it provides to company performance and efficiency.

AustCham is keen to promote Health & Well-being among all our Members – both for organisation and individual benefit – and welcome AustCham members and Australian Alumni members free of charge for this event.
