The German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC), in collaboration with Respondek & Fan Ltd. (RF), is delighted to invite you and your friends to join the following event:

GTCC Joint Chambers Breakfast Talk:
"Compliance: What restrictions foreign investors in Thailand have to observe under the Thai Foreign Business Act (FBA)”

with the Managing Partner of German Law firm Respondek & Fan Ltd.

Dr. Andreas Respondek, LL.M.

Venue: Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Montathip 4 (Map)
Date: Thursday, 1 November 2018
Time:  8:30 - 10:15 hours

The Thai Foreign Business Act contains a number of restrictive provisions for foreign companies with regard to share ownership and their corporate set-up. Few investors are aware of the fact that a violation of the FBA constitutes a criminal offence. Especially the use of Thai nominee shareholders is strictly illegal.

The seminar will focus in particular on

  • how to make corporate structures legal and compliant with the onerous provisions of the FBA
  • in which manner foreign majority ownership in a Thai company can be legally achieved and
  • how a violation of the FBA can be avoided.

09.00 - 10.00 am. : Executive Seminar
10.00 - 10.15 am. : Q&A
