Message from your Chamber

“Greetings from your Chamber! Well, it’s been an interesting first year for me as your Executive Director at AustCham Thailand. First, and most important, I hope I and the team have met the expectations of our Sponsors and Members. We’re a Membership driven organisation, and helping you by facilitating better business practices and providing business development opportunities is what we do.

As the year draws to a close, our team enthusiastically ask you to provide feedback on 2017 as well as ideas for 2018. We’re fortunate that a lot of Members openly share feedback already, and we certainly welcome more input going into next year.

In this edition of Advance we take a look at the charity organisations that AustCham supports, we hear from Members on what type of CSR activities they run, and highlight news from our Hospitality & Tourism sector and the Australian Embassy, including the Australian Government’s new Foreign Policy White Paper.

We also, unfortunately, say goodbye to one of our Directors, Carly Cummings, who returned to Australia last month.

And don’t forget our final event for 2017 is the Christmas Sundowners, and we look forward to seeing all of our Members there to finish the year in style!

Wishing you a successful final month of 2017 ahead!”

AustCham conducts fundraising activities in association with major events and since mid-2015 has provided an opportunity for a charitable cause to be promoted or 'sponsored' at individual Sundowner events.
