Message from your Chamber

Greetings and welcome to this month’s issue of AustCham's Advance online magazine.

Our Industry Focus this month is “Health and Wellbeing” and you can find interesting and informative articles from our Members in this field below, as well as in our Advance Blog page. There are lots of good tips on how to stay healthy and improve your productivity at work. As always, we encourage our members to submit articles each month to share their thought leadership ideas with the AustCham community.

Also, don’t forgot we are holding a Member Briefing on Dealing with Stress prior to our September Sundowners, which we feel will be relevant for a wide range of our members.

On the Eastern Seaboard, our Manufacturing committee has been busy, and after a successful plant tour of Senior Aerospace, we have another Member Briefing on 12th September on Shifting Safety Culture in the Workplace.

Plus we have the second installment of the Marine & Hospitality briefing to be held at Phuket on Friday 7th September.

In the Chamber Business News section, you will see recent meetings with the Board of Trade, Ministry of Education and a session on the Regulatory Guillotine, and over the next month we intend to engage members further in matters affecting Australian business interests in Thailand.

Wishing you all a successful month ahead"
